Administration for Native Americans (ANA) – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – Administration for Children & Families
The mission of ANA is to promote the goal of self-sufficiency and cultural preservation for Native Americans by providing social and economic development opportunities through financial assistance, training, and technical assistance to eligible Tribes and Native American communities, including American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Native Pacific Islanders organizations. ANA provides funding for community-based projects that are designed to improve the lives of Native children and families and reduce long-term dependency on public assistance.

Indian Health Service – U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Federal Health Program for American Indians and Alaska Natives. Goals: To raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level; to assure that comprehensive, culturally acceptable personal and public health services are available and accessible to American Indian and Alaska Native people.
National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA)
Protecting our Children. Preserving our Culture. Improves the lives of American Indian children and families. Provides training, policy, and development services to help American Indian children grow up safe, healthy, and spiritually strong.
National Native American Veterans Association
Assist the families of Native American Veterans. Assistance will be given in obtaining Veteran Rights, Entitlements, and Benefits without regard to Tribal Affiliation, branch of the Armed Forces; degree of Indian Blood, or Combat Status of the Veteran.
National Relief Charities (NRC)
To help Native American people improve the quality of their lives by providing opportunities for them to bring about positive changes in their communities.
Native American Heritage Association
Organization dedicated to helping Native American families in need living on the Reservations of South Dakota.
Native American Women’s Health Education Resource Center (NAWHERC)
Provides direct services to Native women and families in South Dakota and advocates for Native women at the community, national, and international levels to protect their reproductive health and rights. Activities range from community education to preserve our culture, campaigns to end violence against Indigenous women, coalition building to fight for our reproductive justice, and environmental justice.
Running Strong for American Indian Youth
Mission: to help American Indian people meet their immediate survival needs – food, water, and shelter – while implementing and supporting programs designed to create opportunities for self-sufficiency and self-esteem.
U.S. Department of the Interior – Indian Affairs
Provides services directly or through contracts, grants, or compacts to 565 Federally recognized tribes. Educational programs through the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), social services, natural resources management on trust lands, economic development programs, law enforcement and detention services, administration of tribal courts, implementation of land and water claim settlements, housing improvement, disaster relief, replacement and repair of schools, repair and maintenance of roads and bridges, and infrastructure.

Healing resources to Native America. Offers sobriety, recovery, addictions prevention, and wellness/Wellbriety learning resources to the Native American community nationwide.
