In partnership with Franklin & Marshall College, CLC engaged in the year long project, Reckoning with Lancaster: Settler Colonialism, Indigeneity and the Land Question, a Mellon Foundation Humanities for All Times, grant initiative. CLC and F&M continue to partner.

Jim Thorpe Sports Days is an annual athletic competition hosted by the US Army War College (Carlisle Barracks) celebrating the legacy of Jim Thorpe (Sac & Fox) 20th century athlete of the century. CLC partners with USAWC to celebrate the legacy of boarding school survivors and the legacy of Native veterans.

An annual cleaning of the graves and laying of flowers at the Native American children’s cemetery from the Carlisle Indian Industrial School, Carlisle, PA. An annual ceremony, started more than 50 years ago by the American Indian Society of Washington, DC.
